Many automotive enthusiasts own performance vehicles that can’t possibly be driven to their fullest capabilities on American roads and highways (at least not legally). For this reason, enthusiasts need an outlet to test their skills and enjoy their vehicles. And while a day at the track can serve both purposes, amateur drivers must be exposed to a few of the basics before they can take the checkered flag at their local race track. That’s where Hooked On Driving comes into play…
To get automotive enthusiasts ready for the track, Shell V-Power has sponsored Hooked On Driving’s latest production, “Getting On Track.” This specialized video features tips, advice, and examples from the experts on how to succeed in high performance driving and get the most out of your track day. In addition to contributions from Hooked On Drivings’ David Ray, the video features important tips from leading automotive tuner and racing expert Steve Dinan (Dinan Engineering), racing champion Randy Pobst, and Shell fuels expert Jim Macias.
Visitors to the Shell V-Power Web site can watch several preview clips from the DVD, including "Learning the Line" and "Heel and Toe Demonstration." To view clips of the video, click here.
“Getting on Track” is currently available for purchase on the Hooked On Driving Web site by clicking here.
