Depending on where you live, Shell, the No. 1 selling gasoline brand in the U.S., has teamed up with many of the nation’s leading traditional supermarket retailers to help consumers fill their tanks for less.  Today Shell has exclusive alliances with leading grocers in nearly 80 markets across the US including Kroger family of stores, Giant Foods, Stop & Shop, Winn Dixie and BI-LO. So when you’re stocking up at the grocery store to make your favorite holiday meals, you can also earn savings at these participating grocers that can be used at participating Shell stations!

It’s easy – customers can now make their shopping trips more affordable when they make a qualifying purchase at participating grocery stores by simply using their supermarket loyalty card at the register to earn points. The points can be redeemed at participating Shell Stations when customers swipe their supermarket loyalty card at the pump, which provides a convenient way to save instantly on all three grades of Shell Nitrogen Enriched Gasolines – including America’s best-selling premium gasoline brand Shell V-Power – and Shell Diesel.

While the offer can vary by grocer and market, consumers can earn savings at participating Shell stations by redeeming points from participating supermarket loyalty cards. A few key markets that launched in 2010 include Atlanta, Ga., Los Angeles, Calif., Portland, Ore., Dallas, Texas, Houston, Texas, San Diego, Calif., Cincinnati, Ohio, Nashville, Tenn., Detroit, Mich., Denver, Colo., New Orleans, La., Phoenix, Ariz., Richmond, Va., Seattle, Wash., and Washington DC.
